This just didn't grab me, nor did the cover.

I am sure fans of the author, or those who like these kinds of stories will want to get this.

There is just nothing here. Seems like it is a tired trope and just plain boring.

I really wanted to give it a chance, but I'm going to chalk it up to the fact this isn't my genre.
