I think the premise of this book is really cute, but not something I would consider reading further. The 3 fairy godmothers, naturally, remind me of Sleeping Beauty. The main character, Lucky, being extremely unlucky is a cliche I can’t quite get behind. It feels like an insult to the intelligence.
