You had me at fairy tale. While in general I don't often read romance novels, I DO read fairy tales. I just can't resist them. How can I stop at 4 chapters? I MUST find out what happens, sure, this is all taking place in Ever After so we kinda know the ending but HOW do they get to that happy ending? That is where the magic (If you would please pardon the expression) happens! And the characters, I fell for each and every one as we met them. These are not your average, every day fairy godmothers, they each have a pinch of sass to balance their sweetness and that somehow makes them so much more believable. I enjoyed, from what we've been shown so far, the best friendship between Lucky and Gwen - they have a terrific, supportive link which is something we can all get behind.
I like the book cover a lot, it really conveys the magic and sense of wonderment I found inside the book itself. The title is intriguing, both it, and the cover, immediately captured my attention. I very much look forward to completely reading this first of hopefully many installments of this new series. In fact, I am quite happy to see that this will be a book series. Ever After seems a wonderful place to spend many pleasant hours.
