This is a book that discusses some biblical topics, but possibly even more importantly, I believe this is a book that deals with important, universal truths.

It is always good to be reminded to be kind and of the effects of our actions. I tend to keep to myself, but through the story of Carol I was reminded how little actions and words can mean a lot to someone--particularly the sick or lonely.

The writing style is one I would describe as light and humorous. Although Jesus is discussed and this book seems to fall into a self-help, religious type of category, the writing was very conversational and not clinical.

I am not sure that there is a centralized plot per say, but individual stories and insights are used to support the importance of a centralized theme of truly loving one another which is a pretty good message.
