I really like the message of this book. Many of my students express fear and anxiety about the world. They don't see hope they only see the negative. The message that we should love each other and spread kindness is a wonderful message. I believe this type of book is exactly what we need to give our teenagers. They are so filled with doubt and fear that they are in a world only filled with hate and cruelty. This book shows that there are other options and that each person makes the choice. People need to see that their attitude and outlook on life not only affect their ability to feel good but also affect the people around them. This is the type of non-fiction book I would happily add to the library.
