There are some people who are are natural born storytellers. They can take almost any situation, and talk about it in a way that captivates their audience. Bob Groff is one of those people. On top of that he is a “fast thinker” someone who can come up with amusing things to say or do on the spur of the moment that adds a great deal of enjoyment to the lives of everyone who knows him. I think a lot of this has to do with his insight into why people behave like they do and sense of fun. I’m sure his friends treasure him, and looking at all the people who have reviewed this book already, I’d say fans of his writing do to.

The book is filled with stories that range from funny to heartwarming and at times will even bring the reader to tears. One of my absolute favorites was the New Year’s Day parade he started to celebrate his neighbors. The first parade had only eight people, but now he says there are 400 or 500. Since there are only 20 homes where he lives, I don’t think many people are watching, they must all be participants. With experiences from helping his dying neighbor tp (toilet paper) a tree, because it was one thing she never got to do, to starting a school for witch doctors the stories kept coming, and I enjoyed every one of them! He ties them all neatly up into his theme of becoming love.

Bob Groff does an excellent job of presenting his case for loving others as Jesus told us to, and he does it in such a way you’ll enjoy every minute of this book.
