Bob Goff has this light-hearted and spirited way of writing that makes you instantly love him. He comes across as a bubbly friend you can talk to about anything. He openly shares things from his life, even sometimes embarrassing things, because he has seen the lesson in them and wants to share that with you as well.

The book is easy to read. I don't think any of the stories in it were boring. There were a lot that touched me and moved me. He doesn't shy away from some tough topics, instead he embraces them with open arms and takes life as it comes. It's incredibly inspiring to me. I don't think I could ever be as open and loving as he has been, but I truly hope I can come close. He lives life and spreads so much joy and love just by the way he lives, then he encourages others to do the same. He truly is trying to live the way a Christian should. He ministers to people in his life and through his books.

I read this book quickly, but it is one I can keep coming back to. Again and again. Each time something new will stand out to me and give me some encouragement, or draw out an emotional response from me.

He offers up a beautiful view of how we should see people, and how we should love them. I think those who read it can become better people to those around them. There is a lot to learn through these stories.

Now, was it perfect? No. And I think that was the point. Do I agree with everything said? No. We all have unique views and no one is perfect, but we are called to love them anyways, and that's what this book is talking about. Not everyone is going to resonate with this book, but I think the overall message is one people should hear.
