Thank you to bookish and to the author for sending me an advance copy of this book! I absolutely loved it! I am a Christian, and I'd feel comfortable giving this book to agnostic friends who are searching, because the author did a wonderful job of sharing Jesus without shoving it down the reader's throat. I was reading it while waiting for a doctor's appointment and started bawling when Bob tells the story of Carol, his neighbor. There were other sections that also made me ugly cry LOL.
Everybody, Always really encourages the reader to embrace a life of being love; to follow the example of Jesus and love everybody even if they don't deserve love; to stop telling people what we think they need and instead, model the behavior through living as examples of love and compassion.
Bob Goff is a funny, honest, and relatable person. I will have to check out his other works!
