I famously don’t like non-fiction. It bores me. But I don’t feel like I’m reading your average non-fiction book when I read what Bob writes. I feel like I’m talking to a father figure and he is speaking the truth in love as it was meant to be spoken. I feel like he shows who Jesus is, not because he has everything figured out, but because he knows he doesn’t. Reading this first look and Love Does... they teach in a way that is refreshing. Bob makes me want to chase after Jesus, he convicts, and he says try again. I can’t wait to read the rest of this and hear more of what the ballon guy has to say.
