First off, the cover is a straight up rip off of "Everything, Everything" by Nicola Yoon, so that turned me off right away. Does the world really need another book by a guy who proclaims, "I want to be Jesus"? My guess is, no. There is probably a market out there for this type of book, but clearly I'm not it.
