I'm already finding myself in love with this writer. He's got such an easy-going attitude, and a real and relatable tone of voice, that I feel like I've just sat down to coffee with a friend and he's been telling me some incredible stories in which he's learned something significant. The best part about that, and maybe this will sound weird but I hope it makes sense, is that his tone of voice makes the religious aspect of the book so much easier to handle. I am religious, so that's not something that's going to scare me away or anything, but I'm so used to reading religious books and feeling like I've just been preached at for hours and hours but haven't retained a single thing. This was a breath of fresh air in comparison and I'm very excited to read more in the future.
