Humorous exhortation to be what God created us to be

The author uses humor to exhort the readers to show love to the world, not just to the people like us or those who are kind to us, but to everyone. He gives examples of the kind of people who might “creep us out” and states boldly that these are the people God wants us to love. We are to love those we don’t understand, says the author. Then he gives examples of himself showing that kind of love. He tells with empathy the story of his neighbor Carol who becomes a good friend and whom he helps by showing her love when she is stricken with cancer. This book is just the kind of book that all Christians need to read so that as the author says, we will “stop blocking people’s view of Jesus with our big opinions.” Great first look...can’t wait to read more!
