Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an early copy of this one to read and leave an honest review for.

Matthew Pine loses most of his family to a freak accident in Mexico. He’s got a brother in prison for the murder of his teenage girlfriend and his dad spent a lot of time trying to get his brother out of jail. Matthew is a college student far away from his family just trying to figure out his life.

This book had a lot going on, and not in a good way. There were too many characters, too many storylines and the book was kind of all over the place. Things weren’t explained well so I’d eventually figure some things out but itd take awhile. It got so that I didn’t really care what was happening and then I started to just not care about anything with the book. I read the whole thing but I don’t feel like the book redeemed itself. This one was just not good for me.
