Every Last Fear was an enjoyable, page-turning psychological mystery. If you are a fan of thrillers with interesting characters and original storylines then I think you will greatly enjoy this book. The Pines are your average American family unti the day the oldest son Danny is arrested for murdering his girlfriend. He is sent to prison and his family is left to pick up the pieces. Our story starts though at the end...with the death of most of the Pine family. What happened to them and why? Read and find out!
The reason I didn’t give it 4 stars is the somewhat (at least partially) predictable ending but overall it’s a very well written thriller with fully fleshed out characters.
Alex Finlay is a pseudonym with the authors real identity a secret, but I kind of felt like the authors style seemed kind of...familiar to me. AIf the real identity is ever released it will be interesting to see if it’s an author I’ve read before.
