Every Last Fear by Alex Finlay was beyond amazing. The opening sentence is such an iconic type of sentence, one that will stick with you. The writing is fast and engaging. It also involves the point of views of so many characters - including the "before" and the present. It is also essentially two mysteries. The whole time reading you are wondering how exactly the two mysteries are related and how both can be solved and fjustice served.
i really felt for all the characters and i also did not see the resolution coming. i loved the time jumps and the inclusion all of the whole family as main charaters and perspecitves.
i literally couldn't put the book down and finished in a few hours. i can't wait to read more by this author. It is so fast paced and highly engrossing. It involves a wrongful conviction, a true crime Netflix documentary and an international family murder.
