Loved it!

I loved this story from start to finish. I had no idea what was going to happen. When this happens to me as a reader, I enjoy the story even more because I can't even imagine or guess when it comes to the truth of what happens to the characters. The Pine family had a lot to deal with and I loved that readers can see everyone's viewpoints from the past as things occurred. I felt like I understood the actions of every character even if they were completely wrong when the situation occurred. I also liked that there was a small, but happy ending even though the story overall was quite sad.

I believe this author is a great storyteller and I cannot wait to read more. The cover was great and actually drew me in to read the book before I even looked at the synopsis. I love a good thriller/mystery and this one I would recommend to any readers that like the genre.
