This was my first time ever reading anything by this author and I loved it! The author brought excitement by adding twist after twist. My mouth actually dropped at multiple pages in the book. I really enjoyed the fact that each characters views were incorporated into the story and that there was a reason that everything was connected in the end. This book actually made me feel what the pine family was feeling especially how Evan pine knew he should trust his gut and that he wouldn’t give up on his family until he examined every puzzle piece that happened the night his son went to jail. I feel like the book really pulled at my heart strings too because it showed how much of an impact one life event can have on a family.
