I can see why this is one of the most anticipated books of 2021. The writing is superb. Almost every end of the chapter left me wondering where it was going and made this book impossible to put down. The documentary format placed in between the chapters gave me a Courtney Summers writing style vibe. I really love it when authors incorporate these types of breaks in the book.The author made the characters in the story relatable and you get a sense of their personalities without too much detail spent on their background. This to me could only mean this writer has been writing for quite a while. The end scenes with Matt had me biting my nails. I had a feeling about who was the culprit but there were times that I doubted myself because the novel kept twisting. Such an intense ending for a great thriller. I can't wait to find out who this author really is.
