Wow. This book grabs you from the beginning and does not let you go. This is an amazing thriller that keeps you on your toes throughout the entire story. I could barely believe it was a debut! It read almost as if it were a true crime story and I found myself having to remind myself that it was fiction. I really enjoyed the way the story was told through multiple points of view so you can get the full picture of what is going on.

I enjoyed the main character, Matt, and his journey throughout the story. He has to deal with not only the death of his family, but also the judgement of the community in his hometown. Matt is forced to remember not only what happened in the past with his brother, but also figure out if it is connected to the recent death of the rest of his family. I read this book so quickly because I could not wait to figure out what was going on.
