The scenario is outlined well in the blurb, with two individuals giving narration for the majority of the story. Matt Pine, a young NYU film student who's had his fair share of family strife, is the first on the list. He watched his older brother Danny go to prison for the death of a young local girl when he was a teenager.Former friends and neighbors turned on the Pines, driving them out of their little community and forever severing their family. Danny's case (and possibly innocence) was brought back into the spotlight some years later via a real crime docudrama. It's a little different in that it's written from the perspective of each of the main characters, and it shifts from present to past and back again. It was a page-turner for me.This is a superbly written criminal novel that is a fast-paced thriller from beginning to end. I hope this author writes more novels.
