Every Last Fear is a twisty, addictive thriller with multiple narrators, past and present, propelling the plot along. I was a little confused at first with the back and forth and I feel like some POVs were unnecessary and distracted from the plot. However, I enjoyed the concept and it kept my interest, making this a quick fun read. There were a few loose ends I don’t think were completely tied up and the ending was a little disappointing to me since the entire novel felt like it was building up to something more.

Now. There was a lot of stereotypical, derogatory language (and stereotyped characters) that I do not think should have been included and I’m surprised it made it through edits. I’ve only seen some reviews on bookstagram mention this problematic language, but when POC/BIPOC are saying something is offensive then it is offensive. This obviously brings my rating down because authors need to learn that this is not acceptable. I hope the author reads feedback from reviewers and makes changes to his next novel! He has such great potential and a captivating writing style, but needs to work on the stereotypical language.
