I liked this book, but it didn't live up to the hype for me. I had been waiting months for this one to be released and was really looking forward to it for the documentary aspect. I wish there had been more of that in the book. It was also very predictable. I figured out who the culprit was well before the end of the book.
What I did like about it was that it was fast-paced and had multiple timelines. I loved the documentary aspect and there had been a lot more of that it would have really added to the story, in my opinion. I feel like much of the story could have been told through the documentary. I didn't feel like I connected to any of the characters either, possibly because part of what happened to them was in the beginning so I already knew their outcome before getting to know them through their stories. Overall, this was a decent thriller, but it didn't contain anything new or exciting.
