I love that the story switches between past and present. It allows details to be slowly revealed and adds extra suspense to the story that makes you want to continue to read it. The switching between points of views also allows you to see the story from every perspective. Both things combined keeps me entertained and never bored.

I flew through the almost 50 pages of the first impression. It as very fast paced. When one major development happened a new one was right around the corner. You are constantly finding out new information as well as events that force the character into a new situation. There is so much suspense and mystery I literally didn’t know what to do when I finished reading. This is definitely going on my TBR and I will read it right when it comes out.

There is so many layers in this book, not only with the plot but also with the characters. I wasn’t bored at any point. I’m still trying to wrap my head around everything that has happened so far. It is wonderfully written. Easy to understand and follow and an engaging story line. I really don’t even know ho to express how wonderful this book it. I can’t wait to finish reading it.

I actually really like the cover. It seams simple but in reality, tells you a lot. The strings stretching in different direction with a pin pulling them to one spot reminds me of how police will do it on a map to see how different things relate to each other. So, having this on the cover adds secret meaning to the book. Of how 2 seemingly separate crimes or deaths end up being combined and related.
