After reading the except, I was impressed by the quality of the writing and the depiction of the characters. This book is off to a great start and I have a feeling that it is going to be a good book. It's already very interesting and pulls you into the mystery right away. I'm not a huge fan of this genre though, and while I enjoyed the excerpt I probably won't read the whole book.
