Normally I read fantasy series and have recently been inspired by spooky season to dive into thrillers. Taking a peak at this First Look, I wasn't instantly drawn to the writing and thought I'd wind up just putting it back down.
The end of chapter four had me, though. Then at the end of the First Look I realized... I needed to know what happened. Will it be my favorite read? Probably not. Will I eat it up in a day? Probably. I'm sold on it.
