The story itself is of high interest and Matt is a person easy to care about. This young man has more to deal with than any one person should, especially one so young. To first of all lose his brother with the murder accusation and his subsequent imprisonment after his brother’s girlfriend was found dead and then the loss of his parents and siblings in such a mysterious way would be an overwhelming situation for Matt. The author has hinted at a drug cartel’s involvement and also a mysterious FaceTime phone call with Charlotte, the murdered girlfriend. I like the author’s style of writing and find this book quite intriguing from what I have read so far.
