Based on the First Look of this book, I think I would very much enjoy it. I liked that the characters and their stories were already known and that this book was retelling them from a different perspective. I, as many people might have, had to read Shakespeare in grade school and I didn't quite enjoy it. This book has brought Shakespeare into the 21st century and made it easy to read and understand, and fun! I am also not a fan of poetry due to the lyrical writing and hidden meaning that takes hours to uncover, but this book was very easy to read and understand what was being said without the haughtiness that poetry usually carries. I think I would've enjoyed this version of Shakespeare much more than I did the version in ninth grade where everyone had to go around the room and read a passage. If you've never been into Shakespeare because of the old English, this is the book for you!
