I enjoyed Joy McCullough's unique take on Shakespeare's characters from their perspective (love the feminist spin/themes). I couldn't put this novel so down and it's well paced. I love the writing style (written in verse) and the character's growth (giving them a voice). If you haven't read all of the plays included in this story you won't be able to fully understand it. This has become one of my favorite retellings. It will be a great read for high school students who are currently reading Shakespeare. This is a great addition to a William Shakespeare fan's or drama nerds' collection. Would love to see this as a play/movie. I will definitely recommend Enter the Body and read more from this author. I adore the cover design.
