When I first got this book, I skimmed through the pages like I typically do. I already knew how it was gonna be set up since I did read the first look on Bookish First, plus I was super excited to have win this book from them. I did like how it is set up like a poem and you get to read about each of the female characters like it was an actual play. This is something I do not typically read, but I was having fun as I did read it. I was able to give each of the females a certain voice and play format makes it that much easier.
Being a new take when you know the stories is an interesting concept and this book did it justice. Plus when the women decide to do their own happy endings in Act Two, you just wanted to root for them. Since they in their on way really do deserve their own happy endings. Not to mention the cover of this book is pretty awesome. So if people like retellings and plays they will love this book.
