Wow, what an incredible beginning! To hear the words of someone who has not only dreamed of a career like this, but come back from it and felt the consequences as well. I am super curious to read this story, not just for the real life value of someone who spent so much time in space, but because it looks like he's going to include the journey to that time in space, and that is probably the best part. Someone said it's not about the goals when you reach them, it's about who you became while reaching them. This sounds like this is going to be exactly that kind of story and it's also one that my kids would love! I love how he references a book that really inspired him when nothing else seemed to, that is confidence inspiring for anyone who hasn't hit their stride yet. Overall, I am really looking forward to getting a chance to read this book!
