I thoroughly enjoyed this memoir from Scott Kelly! Very well-written and I loved hearing his story of his year in space along with his journey to become an astronaut. Space travel has always been an interest of mine, so reading this in-depth account was fascinating. Kelly did a splendid job talking about his personal life and his technical struggles as an astronaut. I never realized how much time, training, money and rapport with other countries contributes to the successful running of the International Space Station. I loved Kelly's vivid and detailed descriptions of daily life on the ISS and the trials and despair of failed missions and lives lost. Kelly also includes many pictures from his life as a Navy pilot and his journeys into space as an astronaut which brings the whole book together. Highly recommend for all!
