If you like your memoirs full of science and a tad on the long side, ENDURANCE is the book for you.
Scott Kelly (an identical twin, a pilot and now an astronaut) has lived a fairly interesting life, aided in this narrative by a non-linear timeline. Inasmuch as the story is obviously about his job with NASA, I also enjoyed learning about the people he has worked with from varying backgrounds and cultures. On the flip side, I wasn’t particularly interested in the portions of the book surrounding his marriage, but your mileage may vary.
Kelly is a good storyteller with a relatively straightforward voice - a likeable hard worker made of equal parts ego and respect for authority. If in the future there were a follow-up title about his life after his historic mission, I’d certainly add it to my TBR.
