While this was a good memoir from astronaut Scott Kelly, it was about 100 pages too long. Alternating between his year in space and his life leading up to that point, the biography was well-written but just got bogged down in the details. Perhaps it is because I'm not particularly interested in space travel, but I found myself skimming the last half of the book to get past some of the drawn out and technical parts. I enjoyed the portions focused on Kelly's time at the ISS for 340 days, but some of the narrative about his time in flight school was overly detailed for me. If you are a space aficionado or have aspirations to be a pilot, this is a great memoir to read - it just wasn't my cup of tea.
