I thought this was going to be another dull "going to space" book. How wrong I was! From the very first paragraph, I was drawn in and wanting to read more. From finding out how Scott Kelly recovered from his first 48 hours back on earth to learning what he did after his recovery. I love that Kelly admits that he was not a superstar student and he struggled with many things growing up and yet, once inspired, was able to become successful in his goal. As a middle school educator, I appreciate the focus on finding the thing that inspires you and going for it. I think this story would appeal to my students and I'm excited to read more of this story and to share it. I would recommend this book to my non-fiction readers for sure.
