This is one of the best books that I've read this year. Few books have truly inspired me the way that this one has. Scott Kelly's story is one not to be missed. Highley recommended!
I'm not usually a fan of memoirs either, but with his background and the stories subject matter I could not pass this one up. The story covers all of the technical details of the technology and such without it becoming too dry. (I've also heard that the audio version is even better, with Kelly reading it himself.)
There is a very personal side to the story as well. Including his marriage and how it suffered during the time, he was away doing this experiment.
But the truly amazing part to me was when he came back to Earth and how he had to very painful adjust to it all.
Absolutely recommend this to just about everyone. Space buffs are a plus!
