What can I say about this excerpt? To a space nerd, like me, the thought of space travel, is the reason I read science fiction and watch shows like Dark Matter or The Expanse or Star Trek or any of the hundreds and hundreds of books and shows devoted to off Earth travel. It is so hard for me to believe that we are truly all alone in the universe! But, again, that is just the kid in me who gazed at the stars and dreamed of other worlds. This book not only promises to provide insight into what it is really like to live in space for an extended amount of time but also, that you don't have to be the best student or have your career goals firmly established by kindergarten. Finding your dream can be daunting and I loved the fact that a book changed the course of the author's life. This should be a compelling read for anyone interested in space or what an astronaut's life is really like.
