I'm not a memoir reader and at first glance, this didn't capture my attention at all. This just isn't the type of book I normally read. However when I took the time to read the synopsis, my curiosity was piqued. It sounded fascinating and I wanted to know more. What I found when I opened the snippet sort of blew me away.
The writing style is completely engaging and easy to read. I enjoyed the "conversational" tone and was fascinated by what the author had to say. I could easily lose myself in this book, and definitely have it on my radar now!
