I do not normally read biographies unless they are written about someone I really want to know about. Scott Kelly would not have fallen into that category. But, thanks to the excerpt here, that has changed. His writing style appeals to me and it seems he'll be able to tell a good story. I didn't really think about what he was doing when he was doing it. But now I want to know how the kid who struggled to make it through high school ended up doing something as extraordinary as becoming an astronaut and spending a year in space.
