Scott Kelly jumps into his story at the end, describing the horrible pain he experiences after returning from an extended trip into space. This set the stage for an immediately fascinating story, and he hasn't even began to describe his actual experience IN space yet. This excerpt is a great start to a book, and triggered my interest in a story I wasn't expecting to get into.
