Bravo, Raymond!!! Once again, your most wonderful and attractive prose conveyed a most fascinating and well-researched story. I highly enjoyed this “what if” story, even though suspending belief for the critical plot device was impossible for me. It’s a book, it’s a fantasy, so I just went with it. I certainly learned some middle Eastern history, but not being Muslim, I don’t know accurate the characterizations of Islam are.

Throughout, it is quite evident that your empathy for the Human Condition knows no bound.
