I was ecstatic to receive this book from Bookishfirst! I am a huge fan of thrillers, alternative history, time travel and historical novels so this book is amazing to me because it fits into all of these genres. It is so interesting to think about how different modern life could be if events were changed in the past. I found all of the detail about the new modern day Europe and America to be fascinating. In some ways the new modern day world in the book is improved from our current world. In most respects it is worse. I appreciate the author taking a non bias view and showing both the positives and negatives of the new modern day world. The characters in this book are also very developed and I cheered for them throughout the book. And that ending...!! This is an amazing read that I recommend to all readers!
