I was drawn into this book as it took the reader back in time, another world, culture, and definitely some magic or hoo doo thrown in. This book intrigued me enough to keep reading because at the very least some of the historical references and words I am not familiar with will be a learning experience. I needed a break from my current genre and this will do the trick!!
