This book has captured my attention from the very first page. Rasheed first appears to the Sultan in the Topkapi Palace, Istanbul in September of 1682. The Sultan wakes to see a huge man standing over him, completely naked with tattoos and symbols all over his body. Rasheed keeps disappearing and reappearing before the Sultan and states he is there to help him.
The next time we see Rasheed, he has arrived in Paris in July of 2017, where he arrives naked again in almost death like circumstances. He is brought to the hospital and requires a life saving operation.
I can tell I am going to enjoy this read, as it has historical elements to it, as well as having a lot of characters which I know I will enjoy getting to know.
