I'm pretty widely read but have just not been able to digest most alternative histories (I did like SS-GB by Len Deighton but can't remember any others I've actually finished). I had high hopes of this one as I'm a fan of Raymond Khoury but I barely finished the extract. It's well written and the plot moves along at a pretty good pace, but there's not enough to keep me interested for the long haul.

For those who DO like this genre, I suspect it will be a winner.
