Very thoughtful, underlying mystery and a great storyful twist at the end!

I read this book awhile ago and really enjoyed it. It was definitely a different feel from her first novel, but an author that can be just as good in multiple types of genres and story building is that much more special. The premise of this book definitely was a little creepy in an uncomfortable way, not a terrifying way, though some may argue the definition of terrifying - but not scary, give you nightmares - just really uncomfortable and maybe feeling strongly about the way the ladies live their lives and are willing to accept what they think is normal. I loved the ending to this book and really didn't see it coming. I thought it was creative and thoughtful and made me want to go back to see what I might have missed, now that I held the secret. The characters were developed and interesting and the premise original. I've suggested this book to many friends and family members that I knew enjoyed a stretch in their reading interests and would find it to be just as thoughtful as I did.
