This book was something that I usually wouldn't go for but I decided to give it a chance because I was intrigued by the synopsis and the general reviews that I saw on it and I felt that it was an interesting read and pretty unique. Very different from the typical romance or comedy read that I go for, it wasn't as straightforward or intuitive as the typical books that I tend to read. I think that was why I found it so interesting and unique, it made me think about what I was reading. I also enjoyed it because I felt like it was a dystopian book which I do tend to enjoy. I found the main character Vera to be quite interesting to read about. I also really enjoyed reading the imagery and descriptions of the scenery in this book. I would recommend this book to anyone who is trying to find something new to try and would be open minded when reading a genre that they're not typically used to.
