It's an interesting book and I was hooked from the beginning. You really get into it and want to know more about the people and why they are there and who they are. The main character is a little "meh". I didn't feel much for her either way and that is the same for the village people...I didn't have strong feels either way. It's a meandering story..and I was here for it. The author writes with such vivid descriptive details that you really feel part of the story and that you are in this small town, tasting the food, smelling the smells. It's about tradition in a small town where all outsiders are strangers and all strangers wouldn't understand. I was left with some questions that I really wish had been answered and addressed during the story or by the end.
