It took me a little bit to get into this story but once I was in, I was hooked. It reminds me of The Village or that sort of weird cut-off community vibe where visitors are not welcome and when they do make it in, they are obviously the oddball.

This book was well written and I loved the way the story slowly revealed itself until the end where all the places fall into piece and it all makes sense. Reading those sections of the book were so much fun and you almost become a detective who is solving this strange case. The author put lots of small details in this book which all add up in the end, really making the ending and resolution much bigger for the reader. I loved this book and this genre is a fun one to get into. I would highly recommend this book to others if you are into the lost town/cult feel that is full of a creepy, thriller vibe that will make you question what is going on in reality and which story is true.
