This book was positively compared to Margaret Atwood's works, and I think that the comparison was a good one. There is a town, where the residents do no leave. Once the women become Mothers, it is accepted that (at some point) they might disappear. It is just accepted, and no one really looks for what happened to them. It was a more difficult book to get into, because the setting and plot is so different from a "typical" book, but once I got into the book I just devoured it.

I really enjoyed the way the book flowed, and the revelations and twists were somewhat shocking (although I was able to guess one of them) Generally, I really enjoyed the characters, and felt like this book made you think more deeply about our lives and what caused this town to be like it was.

I would definitely recommend this book to fans of Margaret Atwood and those who enjoy dystopian novels. I truly loved this book, and never would have found it without this program!
