The blurb of this book sounds interesting but the first look kinda turned me off, with what Vera and her friend would do with their dolls. That was just gross. I do want to know why mothers disappear in the clouds but I am not sure it is worth reading if it continues on in the vein of the first look. The cover is also not interesting for me.
